BDS (London) GDC No. 228268 Kate comes to the practice on a monthly basis to carry out our more complex extractions. She is a specialty dentist in Oral Surgery at the Bristol Dental Hospital and the Bristol Dental Anaesthetic Clinic. Her friendly demeanour, and 12 years of surgical experience, mean that patients receive quality, friendly care.

BDS(Wales) MFDS RCS(Ed) MJDF RCS(Eng) GDC No. 114184 After graduating from Cardiff University, Ryan held several Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Senior House Officer and Oral Surgery & Sedation Specialty Dentist posts in Wales, the Midlands and London. Building on his interests in implantology and hard tissue grafting, Ryan was able to undertake a position in the Oral Surgery department at the Dental Hospital in Berne, Switzerland, where he completed his specialist training in oral surgery over a three-year period. The Berne Dental Hospital has an international reputation as a research centre in implantology and tissue grafting, which enabled Ryan to be trained in a number of related surgical techniques. Following his return to the UK and resuming work he achieved his Membership in Oral Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He was subsequently recognised by the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Oral Surgery. He also completed an MSc in Oral Surgery at the University of Plymouth. He has published several peer-reviewed articles and presented at both UK and European scientific meetings. Ryan also previously worked in the Oral Surgery Department of the Bristol Dental Hospital as a Specialty Dentist in Oral Surgery and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer. Ryan’s main clinical interests, apart from dentoalveolar surgery, are the provision of dental implants and tissue grafting of the oral cavity, including sinus lifts and alveolar ridge grafting. He works closely with his colleagues at Cheddar Dental Practice to ensure optimum restorative-driven outcomes for his patients. As a clinician well versed in treating dentally anxious patients, Ryan endeavours to provide a safe and comfortable environment when undertaking treatments. Ryan is a keen sportsman who enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.

BDS (hons), MFDS, MSc Advanced Studies in Dentistry (Geneva), MPros RCS(Ed) GDC No. 114192 .Specialist in Prosthodontics Rachel graduated from Cardiff University with honours in her degree in Dentistry. She completed a number of hospital posts and worked in general practice gaining a breadth of knowledge and experience. She also gained membership of the faculty of dental surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). Rachel was awarded a prestigious International Team for Implantology Scholarship position with the University of Geneva in 2012 and completed Speciality Training in Prosthodontics in Switzerland over a full-time training period of 4 years. Rachel’s main clinical interests include the treatment of hypodontia (missing teeth), tooth wear and the provision of implant supported dental prosthodontics. She enjoys working as a team with Specialist colleagues to provide excellent results that meet their expectations and personal requirements. Rachel puts a strong emphasis on patient satisfaction. In her spare time Rachel enjoys reading, spending time with her family and cooking new recipes with varying success.
